Discover the joy of sketching and painting people with a loose, expressive touch using fine line and watercolour. In this class, you’ll learn how to capture the figure in simple, accurate proportions—along with essential features like faces, hair, hands, shoes, and clothing. We’ll explore how to simplify real-life references and turn those dear photos tucked away in your phone’s cloud into warm, personal art pieces you’ll treasure forever.

In this foundation course, you’ll discover simple, approachable techniques for sketching and painting anything from small everyday objects to complex city buildings—and turning them into memorable keepsakes.

The courses include drawing, fine liner sketching, watercolour and mixed media.
You will need pencil, watercolour sketchpad with thick 300gsm paper, medium fine liner,
watercolours (recommend Windsor & Newton 12 colour pan), round brush no. 8.
